Every article on this site is written with the same goal in mind — to give you the information and confidence you need to plan a trip that feels like your own, whether you're backpacking Southeast Asia on a shoestring or planning a once-in-a-lifetime road trip through Patagonia.

Our Approach
We believe travel writing should be useful first and inspirational second. Beautiful photos and evocative descriptions are wonderful, but they don't help you figure out whether you need to book the 7-day or 14-day JR Pass, or whether it's actually safe to eat street food in Bangkok's Chinatown at midnight (it is). We aim to be the resource you bookmark before a trip and come back to while you're on the road.
We also believe in honest reporting. If a destination is overcrowded, we'll tell you. If the off-season offers a better experience at half the price, that's what we'll recommend. We don't accept paid placements or write articles designed to sell products — we write what we'd want to read ourselves.
